A high-ranking team from the International Cricket Council (ICC) has arrived at Gaddafi Stadium to evaluate the preparations for the forthcoming ICC Champions Trophy 2025. This visit aims to assess the stadium's facilities and infrastructure improvements in preparation for the esteemed tournament.
During the briefing, PCB officials emphasized the ongoing upgrades at the venue. ICC representatives inspected various aspects, including seating arrangements, media facilities, security measures, and player accommodations.
The delegation included ICC Senior Manager of Events Sarah Edgar, Event Manager and Champions Trophy Lead Aun Muhammad Zaidi, General Manager of Cricket Wasim Khan, Security Manager David Musker, and Broadcast Consultant Mansoor Manj.
This visit is part of the ICC's evaluation process to ensure that host venues meet the necessary standards for international competitions. The Champions Trophy is scheduled to take place in Pakistan, representing a significant achievement in the country's cricketing agenda.
