OnePlus Ace 3V Tipped to Get New Snapdragon 7 Series Chip, OnePlus 13 Could Be First to Pack Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC

The OnePlus Ace 2V debuted in March last year, boasting the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC under its hood. Now, rumors suggest that the OnePlus Ace 3V is in development as its potential successor. Prior to any official confirmation, a Chinese informant has alleged that the OnePlus Ace 3V will be equipped with Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 7 series chipset. Additionally, the informant hinted that the upcoming OnePlus 13, anticipated as a follow-up to the OnePlus 12, will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC.

According to Smart Pikachu, a tipster on the Chinese microblogging site Weibo, the OnePlus Ace 3V is expected to feature a Snapdragon 7 series chip, likely bearing the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 designation. Reports suggest that the device will boast a 1.5K resolution display and house a 5,500mAh battery with 100W fast charging capabilities, aligning with previous leaks.

Moreover, the informant suggested that the OnePlus 13 might debut earlier than anticipated, sporting the yet-to-be-announced Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC. It's speculated that this chipset could be unveiled during this year's Snapdragon Summit in October.

The OnePlus Ace 2V was introduced in China in March last year at a price of CNY 2,299 (approximately Rs. 27,000) for its base variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.

This smartphone from the Ace series boasts a 6.74-inch 2.5D AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,240x2,772 pixels and is powered by an octa-core 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC. It features a triple rear camera setup highlighted by a 64-megapixel primary sensor and is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 80W SuperVOOC fast charging.

While the OnePlus Ace 2V was exclusively available in China, the company launched the OnePlus Nord 3 (Review) in other global markets, including India, in July 2023, essentially a rebranded version of the former.
